Job Title: Commercial Title Assistant
Location: 100% onsite in Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical tasks to support timely escrow closings and title recordings.
- Support title officer role in a variety of tasks to keep workflows efficient and accurate.
- Prepare and finalize commercial title policies based upon proformas.
- Scan and compile documents.
- Assist in closing transactions by liaising with customers, internal teammates, and third-party information providers.
- Communicate with clerk and tax offices.
- Order lien, judgment, and authority searches.
- Submit documents for recording.
- Assist with final fee reconciliation.
- Disseminate final closing packages.
- Interpret and act on instructions from customers and title officers.
- Create title files and prepare endorsements and supplemental documents, including in connection with construction draw requests.
- Provide customer service to customers and internal partners.
- Assist with office administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and capable of multitasking.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong detail orientation.
- 4 years of title industry experience or commercial title experience is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
