Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

The Credit Analyst's Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prepares Credit Memoranda in collaboration with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers.
• Participates in ExecutiveCredit Committee meetings.
• Reviews, organizes and analyzes financial information relating to existing and new clients.
• Completes credit investigations from third party sources to augment credit decision making.
• Maintains the confidentiality of credit and customer information.
• Observes safety and security procedures and guidelines.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of, and compliance with, Federal and State banking regulations and adherence with all Bank policies and procedures.
• Provides professional, courteous and efficient service to all internal and external customers.

Working Conditions

• This position is performed in a regular office work environment, including ability to lift and carry files of up to 10 lbs. Extensive use of computer terminal and keyboard. The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday and work will mainly be performed at the Maitland location; occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Flexibility with work location and hours may be granted if circumstances permit.

Qualifications Summary

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business related program.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in commercial credit analysis within a financial institution; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of a formal credit training program is preferred.
  
  

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of Federal and State Lending Regulations as they pertain to commercial deposit and/or lending operations.
• Strong written and oral communications skills, with the ability to engage in successful analytical conversation and accurately document analysis and recommendations.
• Excellent organizational skills. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Team player, with demonstrated collaborative skills.
