The team is responsible for protecting sensitive enterprise data through proactive monitoring, analytics, and continuous improvement of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls. This is a contract opportunity supporting a critical data security program within a hybrid work environment. The role offers exposure to enterprise-scale DLP tools, executive-facing reporting, and hands-on involvement in security incident analysis and process improvement initiatives.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Monitor and analyze alerts generated by Data Loss Prevention technologies to identify potential data security incidents
- Perform initial triage, validation, and escalation of DLP events in accordance with internal processes
- Partner with senior DLP and data security leaders to support incident reviews and decision-making
- Provide actionable feedback to technologists on DLP policy tuning and rule effectiveness
- Draft and maintain DLP playbooks, job aids, and operational documentation
- Prepare DLP program metrics and dashboards for routine and ad hoc reporting
- Support data analysis requests from DLP leadership by synthesizing information from multiple data sources
Do you bring proven success in data security analytics and incident support?
- 10 years of experience in data analysis, information security, or data protection roles
- Hands-on knowledge of Data Loss Prevention platforms such as Proofpoint, Microsoft Purview, and Island.io
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced data analysis techniques
- Experience monitoring alerts, performing incident triage, and supporting escalation workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
