Finance & Accounting Associate

In this role, you will expand your technical and professional skills in a real-world setting. As a Finance & Accounting Associate, you will be involved in technical aspects involving both the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. You will be a valued member of the Finance & Accounting team with the ability to contribute ideas and solutions to internal and external departments.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities
• Assist with accounts payable in managing invoicing and receipt reconciliation
• Speak with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate, and payments are received promptly
• Responsible for assisting with credit card reconciliations daily
• Responsible for working as part of the accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company and clients
• Responsible for monthly accounts receivable reporting, distribution, and follow-up with agents and dealerships
• Assisting with payment posting and recording in both our system and accounting software
• Apply understanding of revenue recognition processes across service lines and companies that impact revenue recognition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related business field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payables or receivables preferred
• Knowledge of bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with a strict level of confidentiality
• Strong desire to take on new challenges and learning opportunities
• Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
• Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc)
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
• Able to prioritize tasks and work on multiple items simultaneously
