Axion Spine & Neurosurgery is a medical practice in Atlanta specializing in minimally-invasive and non-surgical spine care. Our elite team of professionals are dedicated to providing best-in-class services. We are looking for a Registered Nurse, passionate about providing exceptional care for patients, and committed to helping us grow our outpatient surgery center in Alpharetta. Pre-op, PACU experience is essential, and OR experience is a huge plus. This is a part-time position.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Pre-op admittance on the day of procedure.
- Draw labs as needed.
- PACU patient care and discharge education.
- Responsible for all aspects of patient care.
- Start IV's.
- Identify patient needs based on professional knowledge and medical plan of care.
- Coordinate care to maximize desirable outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Assist during emergency procedures and medical intervention.
- Follow all facility policies and procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Serve as a representative and a clinical role model in all interactions with patients, family, visitors, physicians, and other staff members.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Georgia RN License
- ACLS
- Minimum of 1 year Pre-op, PACU and/or OR experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
