What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Mechanic / Pump Technician position at Axis Mechanical Services?
Seeking qualified individuals for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of rotating equipment. This Job requires experience with repairs of pumps, motors, drives and rotating equipment for the water and waste-water industries. Would like you to have experience and working knowledge of constant & variable pressure activated pump control systems; various types of pumps and related piping; pressure reducing valves; transducers; pressure switches; relays; etc.
Top candidates will be experienced with: submersibles; frame & close coupled end suction centrifugal; AODs; turbines/ mixes flows; split-cases; propellers; mixers; motors; electrical; alignment; balancing. If you are mechanically have a good attitude but lack some of the above referenced skills, we offer on-the-job training for the right candidates.
We require candidates to have a good driving record, be customer service oriented with a good attitude. Looking for someone that will work overtime and weekends or nights if needed.
