We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead significant Digital Enterprise efforts, specifically the migration of our engineering data to our new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. The IT Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for our data migration suppliers, as well as our Solution Architect and Technical Lead. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Management: Plan, organize, direct, and report on all project activities to ensure timely and successful completion.
· Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Milestone Delivery: Drive the delivery of development milestones, ensuring alignment with architectural designs and business goals.
· Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
· Stakeholder Management: Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, and satisfaction.
· Technical Oversight: Monitor technical progress, resolve project roadblocks, and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
· Reporting: Prepare and deliver status reports, project updates, and executive briefings.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards throughout the development lifecycle.
· Performance Metrics: Compile financial and performance information as needed to support performance metric generation.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years working in information technology. Experience navigating Organizational Change Management is highly desired. Understanding and experience leading efforts related to DE (Digital Enterprise) and Digital Thread is a plus.
· Certifications: PMP certification, or equivalent, is preferred but not required.
· Technical Skills: Understanding of PLM software and engineering creation and change management activities is a plus.
· Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage senior stakeholders and demonstrate financial savvy, including generating and speaking to financial (earned value) metrics.
· Other Requirements: Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Reporting Structure: The IT Project Manager will report to our Business Partner and PMO Teams.
Team Size: The IT Project Manager will indirectly coordinate a team of about 8 people (internal and external).
Budget Responsibility: Responsible for keeping the project under budget and on-schedule.
Travel Requirements: Limited travel expected.
