Level Scope
As Network IT Analyst, you will be responsible for providing primary and secondary service support. Utilizing pre-defined actions to handle both normal course of business activities and critical events, including escalation to key parties. The team monitors a variety of services and functions that can range from enterprise network, database, server, and security systems to various business technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years' experience in an IT department supporting network infrastructure
- Cisco routers/switches: 3 years (Required)
- LAN: 3 years (Preferred)
- Network , Security , Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent experience required
- Unix/Linux/Windows administration experience preferred
- Experience updating firmware of network devices
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Proactively react to alerts by performing correctional tasks to remediate issues and prevent larger issues from occurring.
· Provides technical support for customer Local Area, Wireless and Wide Area Network
· Installs, maintains, and monitors enterprise-class network components, desktop hardware and software to include switches, routers, bridges, servers, networked storage, cables and interface cards
· Configures switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, and VPN technologies
· Working knowledge of I.T. Network Security, firewall hardening and network infrastructure
· Creates, updates, and maintains support documentation
· Deploys and administers network monitoring and alerting systems
· Monitors network bandwidth performance and availability
· Cat6 wiring, installation, and management
· Analyzes need for automation of repetitive tasks
· Coordinates with outside entities to resolve complex problems
· Proven experience with Cisco network equipment
· Ensure monitoring tools are configured properly to effectively send proactive alerts.
· Analyzes network performance, provides network support, and performs system maintenance tasks.
· Provides network support and resolves connectivity issues.
· Configures switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, and VPN technologies.
· Manages IP addresses and resolves conflicts.
· Monitors and maintains network servers and performs upgrades.
· Performs system administration tasks and ensures network security.
· Documents processes and monitors network performance metrics.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
