What are the responsibilities and job description for the SPA MANAGER position at Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort & Spa?
Azure Palm Hot Springs is the area's newest upscale mineral water resort. This is a special property with many unique features that both overnight and day guests come to enjoy, relax and renew. The Hotel has 40 guest rooms in which most have their own private mineral water tub. Our newly opened Oasis has 5 mineral soaking tubs and a reflexology walk to complement our pool area which has 4 mineral spa pools and the largest mineral pool in Southern California. We also have a café that focuses on healthier fare. Other amenities include a full-service Spa, Himalayan Salt room, Ice room and two saunas. And the property is growing!
We are looking for a talented, experienced Spa Manager.
The Spa manager will report to the General Manager and work with the Spa Director to oversee all operations including hiring and training of Spa staff.
The Spa manager will also work with hotel reservations and front desk as well as spa reservations overseeing the accuracy of scheduling, assigning therapists, room assignments and ensuring the accuracy of all reservations and posting payments to guest folios. The Spa manager will order all supplies for the Spa and retail facial products, keeping an eye on equipment, maintaining the spa reception and making recommendations to the General Manager for improvements and replacements.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with Spa Soft or comparable software and must be personable, professional and reliable as well as have excellent guest service, leadership and organizational skills.
