Accounts Payable Clerk
B&A Realty Management is a Fairfield, NJ-based real estate management company. We are a family-owned company that is growing and looking for a new team member to join our team.
This position will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounts payable.
Job Description:
- Process invoices, invoices for payment, and invoices for payment approval
- Reconcile accounts monthly
- Maintain financial records including journal entries and other records
- Process vendor invoices and prepare checks for payment
- Assist in the month-end process including reconciliation of month-end reports and preparation of month-end reports to be sent to vendors
- Assist in the month-end process including preparation of vendor statements and preparation of monthly statements to be sent to investors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with accuracy and timeliness is required.
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a team environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
