Role Title: 1^st Class Shipfitter

Location: Lockport, Louisiana

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: Days

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced 1^st Class Shipfitters for a Shipyard that does outside New Construction work in Lockport. Candidates must be willing to work 40 to 50 hours. All Shipfitters will have to pass a hand-on test and interview with the supervisor.

Key Requirements

Must Have

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a 1^st Class Shipfitter.

· Must have all Shipfitters tools

· Must pass a drug screen

Must have some form of transportation to and from work

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with industrial or Fabrication shop Ship fitting

· Strong knowledge of Ship fitting safety procedures.

· Proven reliability and consistent attendance.

· Experience working indoor and outdoor Ship fitting environment.
