Schedule:
6:00AM-2:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Make sure all production equipment and surrounding areas are clean and sanitary before next day production.
- Keep tools and equipment clean, in good working order and properly stored.
- Use chemicals for cleaning.
- Operate sanitation department equipment in a safe and proficient manner
- Operate a forklift and genie boom in a safe and proficient manner (if trained as driver).
- Perform self-inspection on each task before moving to the next.
- Keep all storage areas clean and in good order.
- Notify Sanitation Supervisor immediately of any damage to plant or sanitation equipment or tools.
- Keep all documentation current, up-to date and properly filed
- Work safe and report all unsafe working conditions and/or unsafe acts to supervisor immediately
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices
- Responsible to ensure food safety/quality polices are followed, to report all food safety/quality problems out of his/her realm of responsibility to personnel with the authority to initiate action.
- Responsible to make sure a good safe wholesome product is produced safely.
- All other duties as required.
erience, Skills, Education:
- Manufacturing experience.
- Maintain excellent attendance record.
- Possess Effective Communication Skills.
- Reading/Comprehension Abilities.
- Ability to Work Independently.
- Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly.
- Possess basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Plant Environment.
- Walking/standing while in position.
- Able to work in an outside environment and other extreme conditions.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. – if an accommodation is necessary please notify Human Resources in advance of the interview.
