Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday. Overtime as assigned.
Job summary: The production painter will spray surfaces of manufactured protective material such as enamel or epoxy. Knowledge of painting utilitie bodies is a must. Offering top dollar wages for an experiend wet painter.
Responsibilities: Prepares surfaces for painting. Painter blends paint and other materials to achieve the right color and texture. Applies paints to various surfaces with efficient painting techniques, maintains mil thickness and learns all aspects of job as required. Handles planning and prep work in an efficient matter. Cleans equipment with recommended cleaning solutions daily. Performs other duties as assigned. Keep paint booth area and around clean daily. Must punch in and out of jobs accurately on the computer.
Skills: Arm and hand strength, physical dexterity, and balance. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating with customers, co-workers, and management. Detailed orientated.
Physical requirements: May have to lift-up to 50-100 lbs. with help.
