Concrete Finisher
B & H Construction of Central Florida, Inc., a state-certified building contractor specializing in concrete and aluminum additions for manufactured homes, is seeking a full-time Concrete Finisher. The primary role of Concrete Finisher is to pour, level and smooth concrete for surfaces such as driveways, sidewalks, patios, on grade slabs etc.
Job Duties:
- Align forms to ensure correct depth and pitch.
- Prepare and clean surfaces prior to concrete pours.
- Pour, level and smooth concrete for on grade slabs, driveways, sidewalks, etc.
- Read and interpret construction and site plans.
- Comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite to reduce risk and minimize potential losses.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in concrete finish work.
- Knowledge of tools, equipment and techniques used in concrete finishing.
- Ability to work with a team, treating coworkers and supervisors with respect.
- Maintain a good track record with attendance and punctuality.
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record as well as reliable transportation to and from work.
Paid Holiday after 90 days, and 1-week paid vacation after 1 year of uninterrupted employment.
