Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and operating CNC machines, with a focus on precision and quality. This role is critical to the production process, and the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all CNC programming and operations meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the requirements for CNC programming.
- Develop and implement CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, ensuring that all programs meet quality and safety standards.
- Utilize bore gauges and other precision tools to verify the accuracy of CNC machining operations.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that CNC programming meets the requirements of lean manufacturing and tooling processes.
- Troubleshoot CNC machining operations to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of CNC programming and machining operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CNC programming software and technologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of CNC programming and machining operations.

Requirements:

- Experience with CAD/CAM software, including CAM programming.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) and lathe operations.
- Familiarity with CNC milling machines and their applications.
- Strong understanding of geometry and the principles of CNC machining.
- Experience with tooling and the ability to design and implement custom tooling solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience with bore gauges and other precision tools.
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality control.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC programmer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
