Machine Operator 2nd shift

New hires will train on 1st shift and then switch to 2nd shift schedule of:

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday (5:15 pm - 2:45 am)

Friday (1 pm - 5 pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Training period is at the discretion of B&M Management)

• Trained in the operation of CNC machines (Mills, Lathes & Swiss)
• Set up manufacturing equipment, in reasonable time, using documented procedures, to produce quality products
• Trained to read blueprints for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances
• Starts machine to obtain first run work piece and verifies dimensional tolerances
• Operating high-speed sophisticated machines by managing settings and conducting tests to ensure a successful operation in the production process
• Trained to use precision measuring tools necessary for the inspection of parts produced by each operation

Qualifications:

• Have a good knowledge of mechanical devices
• Must wear assigned PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) according to the area’s safety requirements
• Must be capable to operate all necessary equipment within the assigned department (or area where cross-trained) and work successfully within a repetitive manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints (We will teach you how, must have aptitude to learn)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
