Summary
The Wealth Management Sales Manager develops and maintains a portfolio of client relationships within the defined affluent and high net worth market segments utilizing unbiased, consultative advisory approaches and sound personal financial planning and financial advisory concepts.
Specific Job Functions
- Collaborate with internal business partners to provide a broad range of wealth products and services including financial planning, asset management, personal trust and estate planning, insurance and risk management services, consumer and mortgage credit, and general banking services.
- Serve as a focused partner, working closely with internal partners to identify relationship growth and assess retention opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients to understand their financial objectives to meet revenue growth, profitability and retention goals.
- Provide guidance and solutions for the development and on-going maintenance of more complex client needs using technical expertise.
- Perform perpetual discovery, assessing a client's financial situation to retain & grow the client relationship.
- Manage all elements of risk and compliance needs for the book of business.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and mentorship to enhance productivity.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Seven (7) years of experience in wealth management or financial services industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role required.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, financial planning, and wealth management strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and market conditions.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance in the financial industry.
