Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate, you will receive orders, pick orders, match paperwork, assist with inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, adhere to safety procedures, and perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work area among other related duties as assigned.

What you will be doing:

· Filling customer orders in a timely and accurate basis using order pick tickets that specify product location, part number and description

· Ensuring that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments

· Ensure that corporate programs regarding safety, security, care of equipment and facility are followed. Enforce OSHA compliance and ensure an “injury-free” workplace

· Stage outbound shipments and deliveries

· Unload incoming freight shipments

· Record and report defective items.

· Communicate with supervisor and customer service about orders that require special instructions

· Assisting in annual/cycle inventory counts

· Handling complaints related to shipments, notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues

· Accuracy on all deliveries. Verify, inspect, and record all deliveries according to policy

· Prioritizing tasks in regard to receive incoming shipments and process outgoing orders, including picking, unloading, labeling, and storing products

· Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area

· Performing other related duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

· High School diploma or GED required, Associates degree or higher preferred

· Minimum of two years of warehouse experience

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· Coachable and motivated

· Good time management, and analytical skills, including effective prioritization and follow-up

· Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change and capable of managing multiple, simultaneous projects

· Flexible and able to work additional hours as dictated by business needs

· Responsible, accountable, and courteous in interaction, and conscientious in safety-related activities, inspections, and other requirements

· This position requires frequent bending, stooping, crouching, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.

· Able to operate a forklift and able to become forklift certified

· Able to use a pallet jack

· Able to see, read, and write clearly in English and understand incoming shipping documents

Candidates for this position must have a good attitude, a desire to work hard with a great team, and the ability to be a self-starter.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
