Receiving Material Handler

Working with an unloading team, ensure all merchandise is unloaded safely and carefully to avoid injury and product damage. All pieces must be placed on unloading floor in proper area for tagging. Complete other duties as assigned by Leads and Supervisors. Starting $19 per hour plus shift differential Job Responsibilities Unload merchandise from vendor trailers utilizing a hand truck when necessary Offload onto receiving floor to proper staging area. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Decision Making Responsibilities There is minimal independent decision making responsibility with this position. Financial Responsibilities This position does not have any direct financial responsibility. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibility. Required Qualifications High School or equivalent work experience. Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department including weekends. Must be able to pass lift assessment with a push pull requirement of 250 lbs. Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing , and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
