Position: Bridge Program Peer Mentor
Office: Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UGAA)
Supervisor: Rob Major, Director, Undergraduate Administration
We are looking for a hardworking individual who is interested in working as a Peer Mentor for the Summer Bridge Program. The Bridge program is a combination of virtual learning (either Math or Writing) and on-campus pre-orientation activities designed to acclimate new Babson students to the college experience. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who pays attention to detail, enjoys working with new students and programs, and is motivated by the challenge of working with new college students. . The Program Peer Mentor will be assisting in all aspects of program planning and implementation, including the development and management of administrative systems for program staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Compile data, create summary tables and charts, and draft reports.
- Coordinate and attend meetings with managers and other project team members.
- Update project records and databases.
- Provide support for a variety of projects as assigned by management.
- Provide support for planning and budgeting processes for a program.
- Support the collection and analysis of program information.
Qualifications:
- Public Speaking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Flexible Hours
- 1 year of college
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to with multiple college constituencies
