Position: Wellness & Prevention Services Student Assistant
Department: Wellness & Prevention Services
Description: 25 hours/week Minimum Wage ($15.00)
Primary Responsibilities: The Wellness & Prevention Services Student Assistant will support the Wellness & Prevention Services office by providing support for a comprehensive, culturally inclusive, evidence-based health promotion program for Babson College. A successful Wellness & Prevention Services student assistant will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and will be able to function within a collaborative team environment.
Specifically, the Wellness & Prevention Services student assistant will:
- Lead safer sex product distribution on campus
- Support students when ordering POW party grants
- Support initiatives related to sleep, including managing the distribution of sleep kits
- Manage compliance process of pre-matriculation courses on alcohol & other drugs and sexual violence
- Provide literature reviews when appropriate
- Attend supervision hours
- Assist with developing print and electronic media for the office, including brochures, info/fact sheets, and social media accounts
- Partner with Peers on Wellness (POW) to design, coordinate and implement health promotion and prevention campaigns, programs, events, and collaborations
- Other responsibilities assigned based on experience, talent, interest, and need
