Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the educational standards and fosters literacy education.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori principles and behavior management strategies.
- Assess and monitor student progress through standardized testing and individualized evaluations.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with special education needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- Experience in preschool or childcare settings is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and implementation.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques and special education practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
