Backcountry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Technical Lead to join our team. As a DevOps Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the deployment, automation, and maintenance of our ecommerce platform. You will work closely with our security, network, SRE and development teams to ensure that our website runs smoothly and efficiently, while also ensuring the security and scalability of our infrastructure
This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have a big role within a fast-paced team.
This position will report into the Director of Tech Ops
What you get to do every day :
- Architect, develop, and maintain the automation and deployment processes for our ecommerce platform.
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, SRE and Development teams to implement new platform features and ensure their successful deployment and adoption.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues with infrastructure, including performance, security, and scalability.
- Architect, implement and manage cloud-based services such as AWS, GCP and Azure.
- Design and implement disaster recovery and backup solutions.
- Define and maintain platform standardization, procedures, and documentation.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
- Lead DevOps Engineers providing mentorship and sharing engineering experience.
