Ten years ago Backstage Stage Dance Studio opened Stage Left Dancewear, a boutique that carries ballet shoes to tutus to everything in-between! Our mission as an organization is to help children build self-esteem, confidence and discipline, as well as promote teamwork and creativity in a fun, yet challenging environment that encourages high expectations for success. We are searching for an enthusiastic, friendly, and career-minded individual who is excited by this mission and eager to join our team as a Retail Associate for Stage Left Dancewear.
As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for handling various sales activities at Stage Left Dancewear, including facilitating purchases and providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers when they walk through the door
- Building rapport through conversation and knowledgeable, honest recommendations
- Developing an understanding for dancewear sizing and styles
- Managing sales transactions (in-store and online) and arranging for pick-up of the customer’s order, if needed
- Assisting in ordering and maintaining stock, as well as setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
- Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area organized at all times
- Assisting with promotional projects, as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Job Type: Part-time, Hours: 3:00-7:00pm, Monday through Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday. Pay from $18.00/hour.
