Shop Helper

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a motivated Shop Helper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn valuable skills in machining, metalworking, and equipment maintenance. Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30/3:00pm. $18–$20hr, maybe little higher based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of small parts and precision components
• Operation of a sandblaster for finishing products
• Filing and deburring metal parts for quality control
• Cleaning and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Basic metalworking techniques and fabrication processes
• Operation of various shop machines used in production
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the shop floor
• Empty waste receptacles and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Clean and maintain CNC machines and ensure proper fluid levels
• Handle materials for OEM inventory and production
• Clean and inspect finished machined products
• File and smooth metal products to meet quality standards
• Assist in loading production CNC runs
• Apply steel stamping for part identification

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Experience in a shop or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to currently identify fraction on ruler.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
