The Operations Proposal Group (OPG) is seeking a senior-level Analyst to join our Material Pricing group in the Material Cost Management System (MCMS) Team.
The MCMS Team is a critical component of our proposal development process, providing accurate and timely material cost information to proposal teams. This support enables proposal teams to develop competitive and compliant proposals.The Material Pricing Team utilizes the Material Cost Management System and is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate material pricing data for use in proposals, quotes, and other business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support proposal teams with material cost management and pricing, managing and maintaining accurate material pricing data for use in proposals, quotes, and other business applications in response to RFOP requirements
- Analyze cost data and supplier pricing to inform proposal development and ensure best pricing practices & DFAR compliance
- Collaborate with proposal teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in proposal development and pricing
- Strive for excellence in proposal development, pricing, and supplier management
- Foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation with proposal teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
- A self-motivated and analytical professional with a passion for proposal development and pricing
- A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A creative problem-solver with a drive for continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience
- Proficient in MCMS, Selection Analysis, and Price Analysis
- Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Space level proposals
- Effective communication and writing skills, ability to work in fast-paced environments, meet deadlines, and exhibit a results-driven, team-oriented, and customer-focused behavior.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarity with data analytics and MCMS/Oracle
- Strong knowledge of DFAR, ITAR, and FAR regulations
- Procurement and supplier experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Full-Time Salary Range: $76450 - $130020
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
