The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking Quality Inspectors to support its manufacturing operation.
In this role as a Quality Inspector, you will use your proven knowledge and experience in measuring parts with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages. You'll inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. And as required, you will provide auditing support to shop floor operations.
We have positions available on:
- 1st Shift, 6:30 AM to 03:00 PM
- 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM to 07:00 AM
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically requires a High School diploma or the overall equivalent;
- Must have experience working with Quality Inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, and height gages;
- Versed in Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T);
- Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints;
- Proven attention to detail;
- Able to support on-site on either 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, or 3rd Shift.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM);
- Expert level experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T);
- Knowledgeable in weld inspection;
- Familiar with Faro Arm/Laser Tracker.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41200 - $65900
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
