Job Description Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment: conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks: makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed: prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Typical Education & Experience Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot RF circuits to component level.
- Ability to read electronic assembly processes, schematics, and test procedures
- Ability to set up and operate test equipment per procedures.
- Operation of various pieces of test equipment, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, DMMs.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, working in a team environment
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
