We are seeking an experienced and bilingual (Spanish and English) Grocery Store Manager to lead our team, manage operations, inventory, and ensure our store operates at its highest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store employees.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
- Foster a positive, motivated work environment and provide regular feedback.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and stock replenishment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to control shrinkage and prevent stockouts.
- Implement stock rotation and ensure product freshness.
Merchandising:
- Develop and maintain appealing product displays to attract customers.
- Coordinate promotional activities and seasonal merchandising efforts.
- Ensure compliance with store layout and branding guidelines.
Pricing:
- Analyze market trends to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Monitor pricing accuracy and maintain up-to-date shelf labels.
- Implement promotions and markdowns to maximize sales and profits.
Vendor and Supplier Relations:
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Deli and Food Service Management:
- Oversee deli operations, including menu planning, pricing, and food safety compliance.
- Manage deli staff to ensure high standards of service and cleanliness.
- Monitor deli inventory and reduce waste.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in grocery store management, with expertise in inventory, merchandising, and pricing.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, especially in deli operations.
