Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Worker/Roller/Packer is a critical component of the company’s success and works in a hands-on capacity with the finished product. These employees are responsible to hand roll the products daily that are produced from the various production lines. These employees work directly with the rolling lead, line lead, shift supervisor and related employees to ensure product quality and customer expectations are met.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible to follow product specific hand rolling techniques at all times
- Responsible to conduct line breakdowns as needed for cleaning during product change overs and mid-shift sanitizing.
- Ensure that the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner at all times
- Notify the line lead, supervisor and/or maintenance of in the event of a breakdown or mechanical issue
- Follow all cGMP’s and HACCP procedures
- Assist with the set up and/or breakdown of production equipment when required by supervision
- Report all pertinent information to the rolling lead, line lead, supervisor, or plant manager and preform additional duties that may be assigned by management

Experience:
- Some food plant production experience, is helpful but not required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
