Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Recording and processing of incoming/outgoing wires for multiple Title companies
- Payment and reconciliation of property taxes in Chicagoland area counties.
- Reconciling Title property files for accuracy.
- Reconciling of daily payoffs and proceeds of outgoing wires.
- Follow up on various risk items including: older outstanding checks, 1099-S information, customer inquiries, etc.
- Various bank functions, including stop payments, deposit and clearing confirmations, etc.
- Open & distribute title accounting mail & returned checks.
- Deposit checks received.
- Review and respond to customer/ employee inquiries.
- Provide support for operations accountant and to corporate office.
- Other duties as assigned.
