Job Summary
The Title Closing Officer is responsible for all aspects of the real estate closing and ensures proper disbursement of funds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Other duties may be assigned
- Prepares miscellaneous documents required at closing.
- Enters closing figures; balances and funds files.
- Ensures closing package is properly executed.
- Attends and manages real estate closings.
- Reviews title commitment and is responsible for collecting title clearance
- Reviews mortgage payoffs for accuracy and transmits payoff funds.
- Acts as the liaison between attorneys and lenders at closing.

- Must have 3 years of professional experience in the title industry
- Must be customer service obsessed
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent computer skills and technology
- Excellent organizational skills (attention to detail)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work with confidential information and data
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation require
- Dynamic personality and strong work ethic
- Travel between offices required
1-2 years previous title company experience and / or bachelors’ degree or established business background required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written skills required. Bilingual skills a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Real Estate or Mortgage Licenses a plus
