Job Summary:
Baker Chevrolet of Allegan is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, located As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is an individual contributor role, where you will have the opportunity to utilize your sales skills to meet and exceed sales targets while earning a competitive base salary and commission.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with customers, identifying their needs and offering solutions to meet those needs
- Conduct test drives and provide product demonstrations to potential customers
- Utilize various sales techniques to negotiate and finalize sales transactions
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, current promotions, and dealership policies
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the dealership
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records of all sales and customer interactions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient sales process
- Attend regular training and development programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the auto industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
