About this position:
Baker Academic is currently accepting applications for a full-time Acquisitions Assistant or Associate (rank dependent upon experience). This is a full-time (40 hours), on-premises position. The Acquisitions Assistant/Associate will work closely with acquisitions editors and authors, providing assistance with illustrations, permissions, contributor agreements, and other aspects of producing complex books.
The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in Systematic or Historical Theology and a desire to be involved with academic religious publishing. The candidate should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, basic computer literacy, strong interpersonal skills, experience in research, and demonstrated success in working with others to bring projects to completion.
Compensation and Benefits:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a full time position, benefits offered include health, dental, vision, group life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, 401(k) after three months, and others.
