As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical guidance for manufacturing processes
- Assisting New Product Development by providing design for manufacturability input and running prototype trials through the shop
- Designing and implement tooling for production
- Working with maintenance to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- Participating in root cause analysis and quality improvements
- Participating in LEAN initiatives
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Have 5 years’ experience in either oil and gas industry or continuous process manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrate good problem solving, process improvement and analytical skills
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety
- Experience working with Continuous Vulcanization and Plastic extrusion, a plus, but not require
- LEAN Six Sigma knowledge
- SolidWorks modelling and drafting experience
