What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Technician position at Bakersfield Cash Register Co?
On this possition you would be able to support customers on POS & cash register software & hardware. You would represent the company either by phone and in a presential way. You would be able to guide the customers thru their devices, even remotely. Also you wolud be able to install all the hardware and software that is required by the customer to operate their business, helping them, advising them and even trainig them on how to operate both, the software and the hardware provided by us.

- Torubleshoot & repair electronic boards & printers.
- Troubleshoot software problems on customer's equipment & repair those.
- Install software into new equipment sold (back office computers & front end cash registers, scanners, scales & remote inventory radios).
- Help customers on the phone with any software issue or question.
- Go to customers stores to perform service & repairs to equipment.
- Take new equipment out to customer's location, install & do any custom programming that the customer request. Check systems for correct operations.
- Check in all new equipment & parts for correct operations before putting into inventory.
Salary : $19 - $21
