Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (No overtime)

Onsite – Tempe, AZ or Casa Grande, AZ
Hourly Range:
$65 - $70
About the Job
This role supports the Manufacturing & Engineering organization, focusing on dimensional quality, GD&T, fixture design, and product/process improvements. You will operate in a fast‑moving environment where no two days are the same and will help build a brand‑new function from the ground up.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure dimensional accuracy and proper tolerances.
- Design and develop fixtures that integrate seamlessly with assembly equipment, robots, conveyors, and manufacturing tools.
- Ensure fixtures support ergonomic, efficient, and bottleneck‑free production flow.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to evaluate design feasibility and recommend improvements.
- Develop, validate, and implement GD&T requirements in collaboration with design and manufacturing engineers.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure precise dimensional performance across assemblies.
- Identify and resolve dimensional or quality issues using strong analytical and metrology skills.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, STEM, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in dimensional engineering within manufacturing or production.
- Strong GD&T proficiency and application experience.
- CAD software experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with advanced metrology tools and measurement analysis software (preferred).
- Familiarity with SPC, quality systems, and problem‑solving methodologies (Six Sigma/CQE a plus).
- Ability to cross‑collaborate and contribute innovative ideas.
