POSITION SUMMARY:

In Balchem's Human Nutrition and Health Business, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions in the food, beverage and nutrition space. Our marketing team plays a crucial role in shaping our brand, connecting with our audience, and driving growth. We're looking for a passionate and creative Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of marketing. Duties include data analysis, content writing, market research, customer prospecting and strategic partnership development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for the completion and reporting on of any assigned tasks and projects
• Assist in the creation and management of content for social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn)
• Conduct market research to identify key market trends, target audiences, and competitors
• Contribute and edit Balchem Beat Newsletter and website copy
• Support the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements
• Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics (e.g., social media engagement, website traffic, conversion rates)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to align marketing strategies and new product development plans
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and strategies
• Assist in organizing promotional events, trade shows, or webinars
• Perform administrative tasks related to marketing initiatives as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally a Junior currently enrolled in college at an accredited University or completed BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or Business
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Relevant intern or employment experience in marketing or a related field is a plus
