Responsibilities:
- Maintains, records and logs as required by the facility office.
- Briefs Maintenance Manager daily, relating facts, questions and other necessary information pertinent to the successful operation of the facilities department.
- Coordinates with other departments for special projects, work requests, and work assignments. Supervises a designated crew in performance of daily work duties and assists as needed to insure timely completion.
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers, fellow employees, vendors, and the general public.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises shift employees in the Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; insuring timely and quality completion; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, Percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
