The Role: Performs needed repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance to slot machines either on the floor or in the Slot Shop.
Responsibilities: • Evaluates machines which fail to hold approved percentages for evidence of cheating or mechanical malfunctions.
• Coordinates with other slot technicians on shift to ensure maximum performance of all technicians.
• Moves and sets on bases upright slot machines with assistance from another technician.
• Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors.
• Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
• Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guests’ wins.
• Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
• Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
• Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.
• Promotes Rewards programs and card membership.
• Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of casino rules and regulations pertaining to the Slot Technicians position.
Capability to perform most common repairs on electronic slot machines required.
