Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is nearly 3,300 members strong with two campuses, and over 400 staff members during our peak season. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THE STAFF ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
As the Staff Engagement Coordinator, you will work directly with the Human Resources team by collaboratively creating a variety of cultural and staff-related initiatives where our Staff can do their best work while creating an environment where Great People Make Favorite Places. You will primarily focus on performing a variety of Staff-related activities such as community volunteer opportunities, staff pulse surveys, monthly pop-up events, seasonal appreciation events, facilitating onboarding programs, and serve as the back-up recruiter during summer months. This individual plays a large role in providing Staff with a welcoming, informative, and respectful experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate must be creative by nature with an outgoing personality! Of course, it's important to also have strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. You will be using a computer, so being proficient with Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Recruitment experience is also a plus! A recent college degree in Business or Hospitality & Tourism and prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel or resort environment is strongly preferred. This is a full-time position that will work up to 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
