The Opportunity
We are seeking a Media & Marketing Coordinator to join Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI) and play a key role in shaping how our mission, impact, and services are communicated to the community. In this role, you will help elevate BCRI’s brand, strengthen internal and external communications, and support recruitment, fundraising, and program visibility efforts.
You’ll develop engaging content, manage digital platforms, support media relations, and collaborate with leadership and program teams to tell meaningful stories that highlight outcomes and community impact.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage organizational branding, messaging, and style guidelines.
- Support with media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and crisis communications.
- Manage digital platforms, including website content and social media channels.
- Create marketing materials for programs, recruitment, and fundraising.
- Collaborate with leadership and program teams to highlight outcomes and impact.
- Identify and pursue impact messaging and storytelling opportunities.
- Support grant-related communications, reports, and donor stewardship materials.
- Track and analyze engagement metrics to inform strategy.
- Ensure communications comply with confidentiality, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Other duties as assigned in support of organizational goals.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of experience in media, marketing, or communications, preferably in nonprofit or public health settings
- Experience with digital content management and media engagement required.
- Strategic communication

- Digital tools: Canva, SquareSpace, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
- Social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok
- Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer workstation. Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching. Must be able to lift weights up to 50 pounds at times.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license, Required.
