Growing Family Medical Clinic near Downtown Henderson is looking for additional Licensed Nurse Practitioners who are familiar with diagnosing, and treating various health-related conditions, as well as promoting good health practices. What we look for most in our nurse practitioner candidates is the ability, willingness, and education to conduct physical examinations, and interpret lab results while overseeing our patients’ health with exceptional customer service. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. Extensive clinical experience in primary care is vital. As a Nurse Practitioner with our Family Practice, you’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills,and communication are important assets to our management. Responsibilities
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
- Oversee patients’ overall health
- Promote good health practices
- Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
- Must be willing to travel between multiple locations
Skills
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other settings
- Expertise in family medicine
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics

- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
Qualifications
- Valid nurse practitioner license
- Valid, Unrestricted DEA License
- Excellent charting knowledge and ability
- Master’s degree; Ph.D. is a plus
- Bilingual: a plus
