Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and a server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that patrons have an enjoyable experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and taking drink orders efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math for managing cash register transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to food service environments.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for accurate drink measurements and cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
