What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Room attendant / Warranty parts attendant position at Banks Chevrolet?
Banks Chevrolet is looking to hire a full time Tool Room attendant / Warranty parts attendant The right candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, have good attention to detail, and willing to learn. We are looking for someone who can safely, accurately, and efficiently distribute shop supplies and tools to our shop technicians. Accurately receive, catalog and inventory our warranty parts. Help process tire warranty claims. Must be able to pass criminal background check.
Hours
- 7:30 - 5:00 Monday - Friday
Tool Room attendant / Warranty parts attendant - Essential Duties-
- Accurately and efficiently manage the special tool inventory
- Receive, catalog and inventory our warranty parts hold area.
- Assist the shop foreman in procuring tools and supplies for the shop
- Order, receive, put away, and distribute all shop supplies.
- Process tire warranties with the manufacturer
Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience as is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred
- Good attention to detail and be organized
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Ability to learn to drive our forklift
