Turbocharged high-performance engine developer and manufacturer, Banks Power, is looking for a self-motivated Sales Representative to drive our sales growth primarily through direct sales to end users and dealers. In this position, you will be serving as first point of contact for sales and address customer questions/concerns/issues before, during and after the sale. You'll be rewarded for the value you create and have the opportunity to grow with the company. This position will report to Sales Manager.
Main Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls, voicemails, e-mail, text and chat from prospective buyers, sell them the parts they need for their vehicles. Provide same-day response to all customer inquiries.
- Explore new opportunities to generate more sales, including making a minimum of 30 follow-up calls daily to existing buyers.
- Develop and retain a good understanding on how performance engines operate.
- Provide order and inventory status as requested by customer for all sales accounts.
- Assist walk-in customers, schedule install customers or refer customers to authorized dealers as needed.
- Enter customer information, customers vehicle type, and requests for literature into our CRM system. Maintain accurate customer records throughout the sales cycle.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Attend occasional local trade shows and promotional activities.
- Other duties assigned by Sales Manager.
- 2 years of experience selling in automotive aftermarket performance, wheels, tires, suspension or a related field. A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to effectively handle high call volume.
- A self-starter. Goal-oriented. Strong work ethic.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of gasoline, diesel trucks and motor homes.
- Understanding of performance engines and non-OEM engine use (racing, marine, vehicle conversion, etc).
- Base pay ($24-27/hour) SPIFF opportunity
