Position Overview:
As the Quality Department leader, you'll champion high reliability in clinical performance through strategic assessment, prioritization of improvement activities, and successful implementation of quality initiatives. You'll work closely with system and operating entities to enhance quality outcomes across the continuum of care while leveraging your expertise in communication, collaboration, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Leadership: Integrate quality into the fabric of the organization, direct quality infrastructure, and collaborate with administrators, physicians, and clinical leaders
- Performance Improvement: Serve as a subject matter expert in improvement methodologies, project management, and change management to support clinical quality initiatives
- Population Health: Direct evaluation and improvement of healthcare processes to advance efficient, effective, and safe care for defined populations
- Data Analytics: Leverage organizational analytics to guide data-driven decision making and inform quality improvement initiatives
- Patient Safety: Cultivate a safe healthcare environment by promoting safe practices, nurturing a Just Culture, and improving processes that detect, mitigate, or prevent harm
- Regulatory Compliance: Direct monitoring and improvement of compliance with internal and external requirements, ensuring continuous survey readiness
- Quality Accountability: Oversees and serves as a subject matter expert in compliance with voluntary, mandatory and contractual reporting requirements for data acquisition, analysis, reporting and process improvement
Qualifications:
• Proven leadership experience in healthcare quality improvement
• Strong analytical skills with experience in healthcare data interpretation
• Excellence in communication, collaboration, and change management
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality metrics
• Experience with performance improvement methodologies
