- Ensure that all work is completed expertly and meets quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with other shifts to run workflow efficiently.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest workplace safety and environmental requirements and implement all health and safety policies on the shop floor.
- Maintain and service equipment as needed or according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Interview drop-off drivers and document vehicle complaints.
- Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
- Craft job orders, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to resolve malfunction and plan work procedures.
- Test-drive vehicle once service is complete to ensure that they run smoothly.
- Look out for training and factory technical bulletins as they become available.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- 3-5 years of mechanic experience preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, math, and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment
- One year dealership experience preferred
- Manufacturer or ASE certification preferred
