Acute Care Surgeons to join our rapidly expanding surgicalist team!
Base Salary : $450,000 with the potential for additional earnings through optional extra shifts
30,000 sign on bonus annual quality bonus relocation
Complete benefits package and relocation
This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multidisciplinary medical group with over 1000 employed physicians)

We are in the process of growing our Acute Care Surgery service team to continue providing the highest level of specialty care available to the region
Join our 4 Acute Care Surgeons and a highly trained, committed support staff
Primary facility : BMH - Memphis (700 bed tertiary referral center for our 24-hospital system)
Dedicated OR Access
Incredibly diverse pathology
Minimal Trauma (Polytrauma is covered by Elvis Presley Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Memphis)
When fully staffed, our group operates on a balanced schedule designed to support clinical excellence and physician well-being. The schedule includes :
7 (24-hour call shifts per month); reimbursement for extra call taken
Rounding and outpatient clinic
Minimum of 9 consecutive days off per physician every month
Great sub-specialty support
Baptist has a general surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach
Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
