Position objective :
The Billing Specialist will provide administrative support to the accounts receivable team. He / she will gather data, calculate charges and fees, and create invoices for billing purposes under the supervision of the AR manager.
This position requires a detail-oriented, self-starting individual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Scanning and paying citation bills
- Answering inbound phones calls and addresses customer requests as needed
- Prepares billing repairs, mileage, and other assessorial costs to clients
- Provide support for internal and external audits
- General customer service obligations
- Monthly billing paperwork
- Maintains and updates customer files
- Assist with any other duties assigned
Skills and Experience
- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (excel / outlook), adobe suite
- Results driven and proactive; strong desire to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence
- Adaptability / flexibility to change as company requires
Supervision : Moderate must be able to follow directions and work independently
Languages : English fluency required
Training / Education required : High school diploma or equivalent; with some college or degree preferred
Experience required : 1 years' experience in administrative / office / finance
Work Environment : This role requires the physical demands of prolong periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Wage : $23 / hr
